Hi guys, gals, and cylons. I’m the new face from FrakMedia, filling in for Joe Beaudoin Jr., here to give a helping hand with BGA. Over at FrakMedia I have the pleasure of serving as the Public Relations Coordinator, a role that enables me to do something I love…dealing with people.

Like all of you I am a big BSG fan and love meeting and conversing with other fans. I look forward to getting to know everyone better and to work hand in hand with the great folks already here at Battlestar Galactica Alliance.

Jonathan J. Reinhart is the PR Coordinator (pr [at] frakmedia [dot] net) for FrakMedia! He works as a Library Assistant at a local library and is an elected official serving as Vice-Chair for the Board of Trustees of the Dedham Public Library. His other adventures include running a Boston, Mass gaming blog and podcast, called “CWF Gamecast” (http://wargamingforums.com/) which has a strong user base in that area

In our first round of announcements, we wish to welcome BSG Pilots to the Battlestar Alliance! Haven’t heard of them before? Here’s what they’re all about:

BSG Pilots is a community of Battlestar Galactica fans (primarily the re-imagined series, but all BSG fans are welcome) primarily composed of gamers who play Battlestar Galactica games. BSG Pilots offers news regarding both the re-imagined TV series as well as any games and mods available in the BSG community. Although the name might imply that only piloting games are supported, we support all BSG games on all platforms.

The official website of Jack Stauffer, the actor who portrayed Bojay in the original Battlestar Galactica, is now a premier member of the Battlestar Alliance.

So say we all!

The Battlestar Alliance forum, brought to everyone by Battlestar Forum, is online.

Please visit the forums here and submit your thoughts on the Alliance, in addition to content you’d like to see on Alliance websites!

Blue Squadron, a website run by Daniel Allan, has joined the Battlestar Alliance!

I was working on ideas for banners, and basically felt that there are people out there who can do a better job than I could, so I’m putting out a general call for image creation and manipulation enthusiasts.

That call is on the Battlestar Forum, on this thread.

On a similar tangent, I’ve created a “blog button” banner, for sites and blogs that use these kind of buttons. Here it is.

I’m looking forward to what’s produced!

The website is now officially online. Aside from occasional tweaks here and there, and the banners I still need to create, we’re live!

Right now, the website is very simple using a non Battlestar-ized theme, because we’re leaving the chrome polish (no pun intended!) for last.
